Kraft+ April Challenge ..

It’s been a while! Hello!

This is the 2nd layout I’ve scrapped since we moved states in January. 

We now live 800m from the beach here at port Stephens and are making the most of the relaxed lifestyle, close proximity to soo many amazing beaches and outside activities. 

The layout today was done from Kraft+ scrap challenge blog as a guest designer for April. I’m also the sponsor store this month with a $20 resin embellishment prize pack from The Resin Rainbow.. 

My layout came together really quickly and was borrowed from a sketch lafabrikascrap-leblog.fr that I found on Pinterest. 

Here’s my layout and the list of how I worked it .

Here’s the list: 

Something old - denim flower at least 10 years old from a kit seller that’s no longer around ‘Polly’s kits’ and the ‘&’ button in the title that is a brad from making memories. 

Something New: the resin chicken wire shapes in white and rust red that I made on Friday! 

something borrowed:  camera washi from my daughters stash (and Chiyogami designs) and the sketch idea from lafabrikascrap blog. 

Something blue: blue paper strips, blue felt heart from Rainbow Splendour, blue arrow from charms creations and the denim blue flower.

Items used:

Pacific Blue & titanium white acrylic paint 

White gesso

Camera washi tape from chiyogami designs

Cut up Resin chicken wire in white & red from The Resin Rainbow..

Kraft+ October Challenge 'clear'

I don't often get the time to play along with Kraft plus challenges every month but his one was a no brainer. I had it all planned out for a week before I got to it. Way to excited to play along!

I Can See Clearly Now is the October Challenge! 

You need to use something see-through on your layout.

Think vellum, plastic, glass, bubble wrap etc etc. I see lots of glorious clear resin Embellishments! 

Items used:

Background was done using delish cross stencil and colourblast texture paint in tangerine dream and and royalty. 

Embellishments used:

Punchinella Resin Sheet in clear that I broke up into 3 pieces from The Resin Rainbow.. 

Half of a resin maharaj flower in clear from The Resin Rainbow.. 

Part of the starburst resin border and 2 edges pieces all in clear from The Resin Rainbow.. 

Assorted resin flowers from The Resin Rainbow.. 

clear alphabet letters 'GAPPY' are from the resin alphabet set at The Resin Rainbow.. 

Shaker Box is actually a clear cellophane bag filled with sequins from The Scrappery Kit Club for October. 

patterned papers and 'living moments' die cut are from the Kaisercaft range called 'chase rainbows'

SUYS October Design Team Submission..

This month is all about items that start with F. Friend, family, feline, frenzy, fabulous. Yep, you get the idea.

 

 

The 3 challenge requirement  'F' things are: flair, flowers, flamingo and my title - well okay, I had 4. 

As always SUYS layouts need to contain at least 2 homemade items are:
Resin butterfly, resin punchinella sheet, scallop segment, clear bow, teal heart and tiny teal shapes by The Resin Rainbow.. and the hairclip by Rainbow Splendour

Bulk Color Embellishment Kit for October - Pink Whisper

This colour has been an absolutely gorgeous one to play with and create a embellishment kit for!

Includes all the contents shown:
1 sheet of 6x6inch card
1 white paper bag
a piece of baby pink tulle,
an assortment of flower sequins (not shown)
1 long piece of grosgrain ribbon
1 set of resin butterflies
1 set of 3 resin hearts
1 set of resin tiny bloom flowers (approx 6 flowers and 2 leaves)
1 resin single sided scallop border
and a piece of very flexible plastic with a light print of stars on it! ..






A perfect addition to your crafty projects. Add an extra layer of texture or interest when you use them. They look perfect on the outside of shadow boxes or off-the-page projects or on a page.
